Shlomi Dori has been offering proven dog training in the Central Pennsylvania region since 2017 using a psychological-based approach. Dori is able to examine a dog and immediately recognize what kind of behaviors the dog is exhibiting. Owner and head trainer Shlomi Dori has developed the most reliable, promising, and easy-to-understand methods of training severely aggressive and reactive dogs in local areas such as Lock Haven, Mill Hall, Jersey Shore, Williamsport, State College, Pleasant Gap, and Bellefonte.

At 33 years old, Dori holds an associate degree in liberal arts from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division in 2011, Dori advanced his military career by serving with the 360th Psychological Operations Company in New Jersey. Shortly after moving to Lock Haven with the goal of completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry at Lock Haven University, Dori found himself following his true passion in life - rehabilitating stressed dogs and helping their owners live more calmly and in harmony with each other.

Since officially opening Dori Dog Training in 2017, Dori has personally trained thousands of dogs and dog owners throughout Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding states of New Jersey, Maryland, and New York. He has helped families of dog owners overcome issues related to dog and human aggression and severe separation anxiety. Currently, Dori has expanded his love for the dog community by offering free dog training advice on his personal Instagram account, @doridogtrainer, as well as dog boarding available to the general public without a commitment to training.
